Fans of old-time, classic bluegrass music in the tradition of Bill Monroe will be happy to know that the genre is alive and well, thanks to some young purveyors of the timeless sound.

The members of Crossroads, who hail from Northern Kentucky, share that sound—an unmistakable blend of banjo, mandolin, and spirited vocal harmony. And they even look the part, dressing up in traditional bluegrass attire, complete with cowboy hats and string ties.

This artist appears in Jubilee #607: Crossroads/Vince Combs and Shadetree Bluegrass.
