Tanya Savory has gained national recognition as a top-notch performer and songwriter whose music is not easily pigeonholed into one specific genre: Bluegrass and country fans find as much to appreciate in it as contemporary folk audiences. And her songwriting style is conversational and down-to-earth. The Nashville Scene described Tanya as a folk country gem, exploring the nooks and crannies of small-town life with gutsy honesty and a spiritual backbone.
Tanya tours nationally with piano/percussion accompanist Kim House. Her first three albums were Better Shade of Green (1997), Town to Town (1999), and Where We Live (2002).
