Jimmy Hall
Born and raised in Mobile, AL, Jimmy Hall co-founded the R&B-influenced boogie band Wet Willie, best known for the hit Keep On Smilin, in 1970. Over the next 10 years, Hall and the group toured with Aerosmith, the Allman Brothers Band, Grand Funk Railroad, and the Grateful Dead.
After Wet Willie broke up, Hall started a solo career. His first hit was Im Happy That Love Has Found You, and he received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Rock Vocalist for his work on Jeff Becks 1985 Flash album. Halls solo album, Rendezvous with the Blues, was released in 1996.
In the 90s, Hall joined the Prisoners of Love as lead vocalist and saxophonist, with occasional additional duties on harmonica.
