Audie Blaylock and Redline
Audie Blaylock and Redline tour extensively, participating in bluegrass festivals all over the country and bringing new energy to traditional bluegrass music.
Frontman Blaylock, who sings lead and plays guitar, hails from a musical family and spent more than 25 years as a sideman in other bluegrass bands before forming his own. He joined the legendary Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mountain Boys at age 19 and has since performed with Red Allen, the Lynn Morris Band, and Rhonda Vincent and the Rage. In 2004, he formed Redline with three fellow musicians who share his enthusiasm for pure bluegrass: Evan Ward on banjo, Barry Reed on bass, and Patrick McAvinue on fiddle.
This artist appears in Jubilee #1115: Audie Blaylock and Redline.
