Drawing from a wide array of influences, Louisville, Kentuckyís Relic strives to create a distinctive approach within the bluegrass tradition. The four-piece combines youthful enthusiasm and insight with musical know-how and an expansive knowledge of classic bluegrass to produce a fresh sound on the scene.

The line-up includes Aaron Biblehauser on the five-string banjo, Dave Howard on mandolin and fiddle, Adam Bibelhauser on bass, and Chuck Sharp on guitar. The crew continues to impress audiences with its well developed sense of tenor harmony, as each member provides a key tone to the overall vocal unity. With Chuckís agility on the guitar anchoring each song in a combination of blues and flatpicking techniques, Relicís overall sound is truly modern in scope while accurately assimilating traditional influences. In it you can hear everything from Flatt & Scruggs to J.D. Crowe. Playing in and around Louisville, as well as touring the bluegrass festival circuit, these fellows surely bring an exciting new attitude to the style.
