This edition of Jubilee features the folk/pop songs of Kentucky native Alan Rhody and Louisville-based progressive Celtic band the Rashers. It was recorded at the Kentucky Folk Festival in Bardstown.

Taking the stage first is Alan Rhody, a professional musician, songwriter, and entertainer since the early 1970s. Rhody, who has written songs recorded by the Oak Ridge Boys and Lorrie Morgan, has earned numerous platinum and gold records for his songwriting efforts.

Next, the Rashers perform a variety of traditional Irish jigs and reels. The band includes John Woodard, tenor banjo and mandolin; Charlie Smith, mandolin and flute; Bernie Hannon, guitar and string bass; and Larry Green, fiddle.
