Bluegrass music fans are treated to a full hour of fun with this pair of performances recorded at the 5th Annual Osborne Brothers Hometown Festival in Hyden, KY.

Richard Bennett and Bluetowne, a Lexington-Richmond (KY) area band featuring Bennett’s own stunning guitar and vocal work, takes the stage first. Joining Richard are his wife, Wanda Barnett-Bennett, on fiddle; Randall Barnes on acoustic bass and vocals; and Dean Osborne on banjo and vocals.

Next come the three- and four-part vocal harmonies of the Tennessee-based band Tim Graves and Cherokee, founded in 1981 by dobro player Graves and bass player Bennie Boling. Tim, who played his first gig at age 14, also played for James Monroe and the Midnight Ramblers before moving on to a 12-year stint with Wilma Lee Cooper. Rounding out the band are tenor vocalist and guitar player Fred Duggin and baritone vocalist and banjo player Joe Miller.
