This episode of Jubilee offers up a smorgasbord of sounds to please almost every musical taste. Recorded at the Master Musicians Festival in Somerset, KY, the program showcases the traditional rock and blues sounds of the Floyd Lovins Trio and Beau Haddock’s folk-Celtic blend.

The Floyd Lovins Trio, featuring singer/guitarist Lovins along with bassist Joe Morgan and drummer Gonzo, opens the program. The trio offers sizzling, electric blues and vintage rock infused with riveting musicianship.

Next, Beau Haddock, originator of the popular ’70s folk-rock group the Little River Band, joins with Gary Tussing, Joe Geirloch, Tim Marema, Liz McGeachy, and Stewart Waldner to present exciting folk music with a Celtic flair.

Kentucky native Haddock has enjoyed an eclectic career as an innovative singer-songwriter, seamlessly combining diverse elements and influences in his work. His recent projects include a CD in celebration of Celtic music and two ballet scores, Latino’s and Irish Theme.
