Seals 1973 debut recording, The Son Seals Blues Band, established him as a blazing, original artist. Rolling Stone called his 1977 follow-up, Midnight Son, one of the most significant blues albums of the decade. This performance features tracks from his eighth release, Lettin Go (2000), which followed in Seals own strong tradition by spotlighting his ferocious vocals and instantly recognizable guitar playing.
