The members of the Bluegrass Strangers have become familiar faces to bluegrass fans who relish a tradition-based sound. Led by five-string banjo picker Dick Webb and his clawhammer style, the Strangers deliver a distinctive approach to bluegrass that’s also firmly rooted in the music’s classic forms. Rhythm guitarist Jimmy Lykins, mandolin player Chris Davis, guitar player Wes Davis, and upright bassist Frank Carver create a solid, energetic sound topped off with enchanting, harmonious vocals.
