Kilborn Alley Blues Band takes the stage with a vengeance, demonstrating music influences that are wide and varying. Within the group's classic ensemble sound are shades of Robert Johnson and James Cotton, the genres of rap and reggae, as well as Elmore James and Jimi Hendrix. (In fact, lead vocalist Andrew Duncanson and guitarist Josh Stimmel met in high school over a conversation about a Hendrix t-shirt.)

The group's performance shows why Kilborn Alley Blues Band has racked up many Blues Blast Magazine award nominations and wins over the past several years, including nominations as best band in 2009 and 2011 and 2009 rising star winner. The set includes songs from Kilborn's four CDs, including its latest, Better Off Now, whose title track was a 2010 Blues Blast nominee for song of the year. The album was also nominated for best album of the year in 2010.
