Well known as a songwriter, Larry Cordle has had songs recorded by Garth Brooks, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire and many others. The band Lonesome Standard Time, formed in 1990, earned a Grammy award and an IBMA song of the year award for its debut album. The band, which continues to record today, is perhaps best known for its 2000 album Murder on Music Row, which won several honors and was immediately hailed as a classic.
Joe Mullins has been a vocalist, banjo player and radio broadcaster for 30 years. A founding member of the band The Traditional Grass, he also has performed with the band Longview, during which time he earned IBMA recognition for song of the year and recorded event of the year. He currently owns a network of radio stations in Ohio, where he lives.
