The Darrell Webb Band performs acoustic music throughout North America and Canada at outdoor music festivals, concert venues, clubs and private parties. Webb has recorded with Dolly Parton, Bobby Hicks, Marty Rabon and bluegrass legend Rhonda Vincent, and his 20-year career also includes performing with banjo pioneer J.D. Crowe. When he put together his own band, he brought together a talented group of players for a modern bluegrass sound tinged with mountain soul, blues, and even a little honky tonk. This performance includes their blistering rendition of the Merle Haggard song "I'm Bringing Home Good News" and the driving number "She's Outta Here," penned by written by Webb and Jeff Barbra.

Newtown, based out of Lexington, Ky., is made up of five musicians who blend bluegrass and newgrass sounds. Kati Penn, who does vocals and plays the fiddle, founded the band. She began playing the fiddle at the age of 10 and has been heavily influenced by Alison Krauss throughout her career. This set includes "Water Under the Bridge" and "Frank and Jesse James."

Jesse McReynolds, known for his mandolin playing, has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1964. In the early 1950s, McReynolds and his brother Jim formed Jim & Jesse and, along with their band The Virginia Boys, performed throughout the world and in every state except Alaska. When Jim passed away in 2002, the brothers were the longest active professional brother duo in country music history, and Jesse continues to keep their legacy alive with an active performing schedule. Known as the "Ironman of Bluegrass," this multi-instrumental wizard has influenced generations of bluegrass musicians and has created hundreds of compositions. His repertoire includes everything from bluegrass to show tunes and classical pieces. This set includes his own "Drifting and Dreaming," as well as the Jerry Garcia/Grateful Dead tune "Deep Elem Blues."
