The Bluegrass Legends
Two of bluegrass musics true veterans headline the Bluegrass Legends: Carlos Brock and Noah Crase. Brock played with icon Sonny Osborne when Osborne launched his career in Dayton, OH, then later toured as a member of Bill Monroes famed Blue Grass Boys in the 1950s. The original banjo player with the Boys from Indiana, Crase also played banjo with Monroe in the 1950s.
Rounding out the group are three high-caliber bluegrass talents who are well known in the Dayton area: Clarence Kelly on mandolin and guitar, Clarence Baker on guitar, and Wanda Baker on bass.
This artist appears in Jubilee #307: The Bluegrass Legends.
