Jim Diamond and the Groove Syndicate

Since launching their blues career in Cincinnati, Jim Diamond and his band, the Groove Syndicate, have gone on to make international blues waves.

Past host of numerous blues jams in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area, Diamond pulls from a wide array of influences in crafting his music. The Groove Syndicate sound is a mix of swing and traditional and rocking Texas blues. The group’s live shows are always powerful, slick, and surprising—fully engaging the audience by taking it on an excursion through the many faces of the indigenous American art form of the blues.

The Groove Syndicate’s recordings include Angel Child (1997), Somewhere Somehow (1999), Vibe (2002), Choices (2002), and the all-instrumental Shut Up and Play (2003).
