Five for the Gospel
Rhythm guitar and harmonica player Gary Waugh describes Five for the Gospels bluegrass gospel sound as quartet-style with bluegrass instrumentation. Besides Waugh, the members are bass player Pat Holbrook, banjo player Johnny Branham, lead guitarist Rick May, and mandolin player Bill Hamm.
This full-time bluegrass gospel band, formed in late 1989 in northeastern Kentucky, has five albums to its credit, including Working in the Vineyards and Victory Is Sweet, both released in 2000.
