Bluegrass Strangers (#308)

Familiar “Strangers” visit Jubilee with their trademark traditional bluegrass sound.

The members of Bluegrass Strangers are now familiar faces as fans of the group relish their traditional bluegrass sound.

The Strangers, led by five-string banjo picker Dick Webb and his claw-hammering style, take a distinctive but tradition-rooted approach to bluegrass. With Jimmy Lykins on rhythm guitar, Chris Davis on mandolin, Wes Davis on guitar, and Frank Carver on the upright bass, the band has a solid, energetic sound topped off with enchanting, harmonious vocals.

Jubilee presents the Strangers in performance at IIIrd Tyme Out’s Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Morehead, KY.
