Food Trucks for a Cause, Main Street

Ten percent of all proceeds go to a different charity each week.

Christmas in July Craft and Gift Market

Tickets are $4 in advance or $5 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Sponsored by the St. Mark Lion's Club-Parent PTO.

Beast Bash

Proceeds benefit the Friends of Kenton County Dog Park and the Kenton County Animal Shelter. Vet-sponsored booths, food concessions, vendors, pet contests, activities for the children, raffles and split the pot.

Gala in the Garden

The Friends of the Arboretum is hosting the 10th annual Gala in the Garden at The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky. Features hors d'oeuvres, drinks and desserts, live entertainment and a silent auction to benefit The Arboretum Legacy Campaign for Phase 2 of the Dorotha Smith Oatts Visitor Center and the planned Woodland Shade Garden in the Home Demonstration Garden. Cost: $50 per person through August 25 ($60 thereafter); $35 for those under age 35.

Walk for Down Syndrome

Cost: $15 per person (includes T-shirt). The 1.25 mile walk in downtown Lexington will raise funds to support DSACK's mission and raise awareness for individuals with Down syndrome living in Central and Eastern Kentucky. This annual event featuring silent and live auctions, raffle, and family-friendly activities including face and hair painting, music, dancing, inflatables, and more.
