Christian Archers of Kentucky: 19th Annual Tim Farmer Archery Classic

The cost to shoot is $15 for an adult and free for youths 10 years of age and under. Registration for the weekend target archery shoot is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days. Archers should register in the classroom building, located on the grounds of Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources headquarters, two miles west of Frankfort on U.S. 60. Tim Farmer, host of the department's Kentucky Afield television show, will attend.

Summer Horse Camp

Camp Fee: $700. For girls ages 8-15. This fee covers all meals, overnight accommodations and the use of horses and tack. Call 270-286-8167 Tuesdays-Sundays 8 am-8 pm Central time for more information and to register.

Revolutionary Kids Day

Free admission. Experience life in Revolutionary America with an afternoon of fun children's activities, crafts, games, and period demonstrations by Revolutionary War-era costumed re-enactors. Special children's historic house tours, pony rides, and a petting zoo will be available.
