Be among the first to see Louisville’s Roadshow treasures!

Last July, more than 6,000 people lined up at Louisville’s Kentucky International Convention Center to show what they hoped were treasures to appraisers from Antiques Roadshow. You can be among the first to see some of what those appraisers discovered at our special sneak preview party celebrating the premiere of the series’ three new Louisville programs.

Appraiser Wes Cowan (a Louisville native), Roadshow host Mark L. Walberg, and series executive producer Marsha Bemko will be among the special guests for the event, to be held on April 10 at the 21C Museum Hotel on Main Street in Louisville.

Tickets to the preview are $50 per person, with proceeds benefiting KET programs and services. Call (800) 866-0366 to make your reservation.

The Louisville Roadshow programs include visits to the Muhammad Ali Center and the headquarters of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America as well as a “road trip” to the Perryville Civil War battlefield. At the convention center, the finds include a special Saturday Evening Post cover painting, a double-signed pair of boxing gloves, unique examples of regional specialties such as mint julep cups and sugar chests, and many other treasures. The programs begin airing on KET on April 21; see the series broadcast schedule for details.
