Dave Does It!—Commonwealth Cleanup 2012

Hey Kentucky Life fans!

I just wanted to thank everyone who participated in this year's Commonwealth Cleanup.

The crew and I sure had ourselves a good time meeting the mayor of Rabbit Hash and cleaning up the river by the general store, before moving along to Covington, where we sawed away at honeysuckle to help build trails for our friends in Northern Kentucky (Be sure to check out the pictures on our Facebook page).

I was exhausted by the end of the day, but I loved being a part of such an important and special event. Just being out there and seeing all the trash we collected reminded me that keeping Kentucky beautiful is a never-ending project that needs all of our help.
