  • Time Out for Parents: The Teenage Years is a KET parenting production, containng lots of links for parents.
  • Families Under Construction is a site from a Lexington, Kentucky family and marriage therapist. She compares building families to building a house and gives parents some helpful construction tools.
  • The National Child Care Information Center provides information on child care.
  • The National Parent Information Network is an Internet-based service that provides information and resources for parents and for those who work with parents.
  • ParentingMatters is a forum for raising courageous, responsible children. It features articles by counselors and parent educators. The site also includes an interactive message board for online questions and answers.
  • The WonderWise Parent: Caring for Children by Caring About Their Parents - Parenting today can be a tough proposition. The WonderWise Parent home page is a place for parents and professionals who work with them to learn about parent-child relationships. There are online courses to complete, publications to view, and related sites to visit.
  • ACCESS ERIC, the promotional and outreach arm of the U.S. Department of Education's Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) system, announces the availability of brochures for parents and teachers. These Parent Brochures are in a question-and-answer format and all based on recent research.
  • The Children's Partnership is an organization that provides information to leaders and the public about the needs of America's 70 million children. The site includes The Parents' Guide to the Information Superhighway.
  • Teen Issues - get more information on talking to your children from the Planned Parenthood site.

    For Parents of Younger Children:

  • Children's Television Workshop (CTW) features choice articles from Sesame Street Parents magazine, a reference library of previous articles, and activities for preschoolers featuring the lovable Sesame Street characters.
