Kentucky School Boards Association
Summit on Enriching Teaching
Enabling School Boards To Be Catalysts for Change

KET recorded these videos at the Kentucky School Boards Association’s Summit on Enriching Teaching, held August 7, 2001 at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in Louisville. Click on any session title below for background information and a link to its streaming video file.

The Summit was organized in conjunction with the KSBA’s Task Force on Enriching Teaching. This 25-member group of business, civic, and education leaders has been working to address Kentucky’s growing shortage of teachers by creating new models of teacher compensation, developing strategies for improving workplace quality, and devising recruitment and retention plans. The KSBA invited Kentucky’s education policy makers to come together to think strategically and to learn from national experts and state policy makers who are doing pioneering work in these areas.
