Legislative Agenda for Tuesday, February 11

Here are the meetings for Day 25 of the legislative session that KET will broadcast live:
At 8 a.m., the House Education Committee meets to consider HB 87, which calls for the dissemination of employment rates and earnings by degrees and academic majors of graduates from the public universities; HB 206 to require students to receive CPR training in health class; HB 254, which would extend high school and special education services to students until their 21st birthday; and HB 332 relating to early childhood education.
9 a.m., the Senate Appropriations and Revenue Committee convenes to discuss the Governor's Scholars program and to review Gov. Steve Beshear's proposed executive budget.
10 a.m., the House Appropriations and Revenue Committee meets to review the Governor's Scholars program, and Lt. Gov. Jerry Abramson will discuss the governor's proposed tax reform legislation.
Noon, the House Transportation Committee convenes to consider HB 47 relating to disabled parking placards; HB 133 to regulate recreational vehicle dealers; HB 199 to require booster seats to be used by children who are less than nine-years old and are between 40 and 57 inches in height; HB 275 relating to fines for illegal motor vehicle parking; HB 281 concerning Fraternal Order of Police special license plates; and HB 295 relating to revocation of motor vehicle insurance.
Also at noon, the Senate Banking and Insurance Committee meets to discuss SB 114 relating to consumer loan companies; and SB 118 to regulate health benefit plans coverage for prescription eye drops refills.
At 2 p.m., the full House and full Senate convene in chambers.
