Legislative Agenda for Wednesday, February 19

Here are the meetings for Day 30 of the legislative session that KET will broadcast live:
At 9 a.m., the House Licensing and Occupations Committee meets to consider HB 309, which would include cigarettes, other types of tobacco, and electronic cigarettes under the definition of "tobacco products"; and HB 314 relating to landscape architects.
Also at 9, the Senate Transportation Committee convenes to review SB 23 relating to the transportation of household goods; and SB 84 to require an auto recycler or salvage yard to ensure that a vehicle doesn't have any liens or delinquent taxes owed on it before surrendering the title on the vehicle.
At 10 a.m., the Senate Health and Welfare Committee meets to consider SB 65 relating to the disclosure of mental health records; SB 119, which would create special review panels for medical malpractice claims; and SB 124, which relates to the use of cannabis oil as a medical treatment.
At noon, the House Judiciary Committee convenes to review HB 31, which would require the Public Service Commission to approve eminent domain condemnations; and HB 343 to change the date on which state financial responsibility for newly convicted offenders begins.
Also at noon, the Senate State and Local Government Committee meets to consider HB 70, proposing a constitutional amendment that would restore voting rights to felons who have fully completed their sentences.
At 2 p.m., the full House and full Senate convene in chambers.
