'Growth' by Helen Tegeler

Features works inspired by natural forms and connections between plants and the human experience. The exhibition will open June 6 with a First Friday Trolley Hop reception from 6-8 p.m. Helen Tegeler earned her BFA at Bowling Green State University and an MFA from Southern Illinois University. She has exhibited her work internationally and has taught at institutions across the country, including recently at the University of Louisville where she was a visiting faculty member in 2013.

Repurposed & Recycled: Works by Kentucky Artisans

Showcases both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works made from a variety of unusual found and recycled materials. From old children's building blocks to cigarette butts, antique weather vanes and dehydrated tree frogs, this exhibit by 41 Kentucky artists includes jewelry, furniture, clothing, sculpture, collage, paintings and a variety of mixed-media works using fiber, metal and wood.
