Cindy Murdock, a Kentuckian chosen as a national semifinalist in the challenge, talks about her participation in the contest, which involved writing an essay on why she wanted to “Be a Quitter.” Bill also speaks with RaeAnne Davis, the Kentucky coordinator for the National Network of Tobacco Cessation Quitlines initiative, about efforts to help smokers kick the habit in Kentucky and around the country.
