McAllister, a physician who advocates for family health through her writing and public speaking work, discusses her new book, Riding for Life: A Horsewoman’s Guide to Lifetime Health and Fitness. The book is built around a questionnaire that enables horsewomen to identify and overcome barriers to optimal health and fitness. McAllister previously discussed nutrition and obesity issues in One to One Program 130, which aired in August 2006.
