Mills discusses the Christian Appalachian Project and its involvement in the creation of the ABC documentary “A Hidden America: Children of the Mountains.”

He reveals his own feelings about the controversial program and discusses significant problems in the region and Appalachian stereotypes.

He also discusses the Christian Appalachian Project, a 45-year-old charity designed to provide assistance to children, the elderly and disabled adults in the Appalachian region. He talks about how the organization is funded; its services, including after-school programs, home repair, summer camps and classes for parents; and how individuals can help CAP.
