John Allison, keynote speaker at the Kentucky Chamber's Economic Summit and Annual Meeting in Louisville in July, says government policy was the primary cause of the financial crisis and believes many actions taken since the crisis started could be extremely destructive in the long term.
Allison began work at BB&T in 1971 and was CEO from 1989 to 2008. He is now Distinguished Professor of Practice at the Wake Forest University School of Business.
