Sue Halpern is the author of three books of non-fiction and two novels. She was a presenter at the 2010 Kentucky Women Writer's Conference. A scholar-in-residence at Middlebury College in Vermont, Halpern is the director of Face of Democracy, which teaches journalism to high school students.

In Can't Remember What I Forgot, she explores everyday memory lapses, fears about dementia, and neuroscience research into Alzheimer's disease.
