Irishman and celebrated tenor Ronan Tynan has had success as a crossover classical performer, mixing Irish classics, opera, and popular music. He has performed widely at events such President Ronald Reagan's funeral, former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's wedding, and numerous benefits and memorials following September 11.

Tynan came to professional singing late, after a degree in medicine and residency. His quick climb in music is a typical example of his drive and determination, but it's not his only notable achievement. Following the amputation of his legs below the knee at age 20, Tynan became a competitor in Paralympics, where he won eighteen gold medals and set fourteen world records. He maintains a busy schedule as a motivational speaker.
