It has been said that watching Valerie Smith perform is "like being an eye-witness to a thermonuclear explosion!" And Valerie refers to her own performances as "bluegrass aerobics."
The versatile and talented Smith, along with her band Liberty Pike, take the stage on the next Jubilee , airing Thursday, Feb. 17 at 10/9 p.m. CT on KET.
As consistent bluegrass chart-toppers, Valerie Smith and Liberty Pike travel constantly, doing what they are most passionate about--making music. This performance was taped last summer during their stop at the Festival of the Bluegrass at the Kentucky Horse Park.
