Barney throws a party and Teletubbies dance in March specials on KET

KET presents special episodes of kids' favorites, Barney & Friends and Teletubbies, airing on KET and KET2 during TeleFund 2000.

Barney throws a birthday party for BJ that is sure to be a "super-dee-duper" time. Airing Saturday, March 4 at 9/8 a.m. CT, Barney's Big Surprise features 28 songs. The celebration also includes dancing, a ride in a hot air balloon and, as usual, lots of love. Show favorites such as Baby Bop, Mother Goose and Professor Tinkerputt make appearances for the party.

KET's fab four, the Teletubbies, also make a special appearance the morning of Sunday, March 5. "Dance with the Teletubbies," airing at 8/7 a.m. CT, features the four whimsical denizens of Teletubby Land letting their feet do the talking. "Here Come the Teletubbies," airing at 9:05/8:05 a.m. CT, features the Teletubbies enjoying the world of real children celebrating the joy of play.

Barney's Big Surprise is produced by Leach Production Company, an entertainment unit of Lyrick Studios. The Teletubbies Specials are produced by Ragdoll Productions (UK) LTD/Itsy Bitsy Entertainment.
