Branson Jubilee, a new music performance series, is taped entirely in and around Branson, Mo.-- the Midwest's entertainment capital. The series, which airs Saturdays at 7/6 p.m. CT beginning Jan. 13 on KET2, features Branson favorites Les Brown and the Band of Renown, Tony Orlando and Ray Stevens.
The first program begins with "Nashville Star" winner Brad Cotter. Later, special guest Crystal Gayle performs "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue," "Hallelujah" and "Midnight in the Desert." The program also features singer Chely Wright; Lord Howard Posener, official magician of the British Royal Family; and the dance troupe Spirit of the Dance with a tribute to Bob Fosse.
Branson Jubilee's premiere season also includes performances by Glenn Campbell, Lee Greenwood and Restless Heart.
