| KET's TeleFund 2007 includes music, drama, tickets to special events, Kentucky history |

F ascinating specials about Kentucky an d its unique history, memorable performances from beloved musicians and actors, and exclusive opportunities for tickets to Celtic Woman and Antiques Roadshow are all part of KET's TeleFund 2007 , taking place March 3 through 18. KET puts the spotlight on Kentucky's rich history and heritage throughout much of this year's TeleFund lineup. Where the River Bends: A History of Northern Kentucky examines the social and historical events that contributed to the evolution of Northern Kentucky. The Civil War in Kentucky explores Kentucky's role in the Civil War from 1861 through October 1862, which marked the retreat of Confederate armies that had invaded the area. And, host Dave Schuffett visits some of the most fascinating locations in the state in A Kentucky Life Special, Dr. Clark's Kentucky Treasures . Celtic Woman and Antiques Roadshow are both visiting Louisville this year, and TeleFund viewers will have the chance to gain tickets . Celtic Woman brings their distinctive style of performance on April 13 and 14, and experts from Antiques Roadshow will appraise Kentuckians' hidden treasures on July 28. Also, TeleFund 2007 features a diverse blend of music, including memorable performances by Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Kenny Rogers, Johnny Mathis and Alison Krauss. Doo Wop's Best on PBS and Broadway's Best of Pops are also highlighted. My Music specials include "Movie Songs , " "The British Beat" and "Country and Pop Legends . " Plus, The Best of Masterpiece Theatre counts down the series' best-loved programs, which were selected by viewers in a nationwide survey. Host Derek Jacobi will be joined by some of the most popular stars from Masterpiece Theatre 's 35 seasons, including Helen Mirren ( The Queen ) and Hugh Laurie ( House ).
