Annual call-in helps viewers prepare for severe weather

Spring can be a dangerous season for the Bluegrass, with higher potential for tornados, which have already claimed lives in the Southeast this year; severe storms lightning and flooding . To help viewers educate themselves about proper preparation and planning , KET presents Severe Storms: Being Prepared , a live call-in program hosted by Bill Goodman and featuring an expert panel of severe weather specialists.

During the one-hour program, airing Tuesday, March 27 at 9/8 p.m. CT on KET1, viewers can call with their questions and concerns about severe weather. Being prepared and learning more about reliable emergency services can greatly minimize the potential deaths, injuries and economic losses associated with severe weather.

Severe Storms: Being Prepared is a production of KET in partnership with the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management and the Kentucky Weather Preparedness Committee . N ick Helton is producer .
