Basketball, philosophy subject of next One to One

Lexington Herald-Leader columnist Cheryl Truman and Jerry Walls, a philosophy of relig ion professor at Asbury College , discuss Tubby Smith's departure and the cult of basketball in Kentucky on the next edition of One to One , airing Fri day, April 2 7 at 10 / 9 p.m. CT on KET 2 and Sunday, April 29 at 2/1 p.m. CT on KET1 . Bill Goodman hosts.

Truman, a native Kentuckian, has publicly criticized the state's obsession with the departure of University of Kentucky head basketball coach Tubby Smith .

Walls, the e ditor of Basketball and Philosophy , has taught at Asbury Seminary since 1987 and authored a variety of professional and popular articles. In his leisure time, he is a connoisseur of classic British sports cars and an avid fan of football and basketball.
