T eleFund 2007 , KET's on-air fund-raising event held March 3-18, far exceeded its goal this year with more than $8 4 2 ,000 in pledges -- the highest TeleFund total in KET's history.
KET's documentary Where the River Bends: A History of Northern Kentucky received an overwhelming statewide response . Viewers made it the most successful TeleFund premiere of a local history documentary in KET's nearly 40-year history.
" We would like to thank KET ' s 29,000-member family who contribute d to the unprecedented success of this year's TeleFund ," said Michele Ripley, president of the Commonwealth Fund for KET. "Their support enables KET to continue to make Kentucky a better place, delivering quality national and local programming that families can trust."
