Louisville Life tackles trivia, visits Farmington, goes to school, interviews Kevin Cosby, sketches cartoonist Fontaine Fox

For Release: Sept. 4, 2006

July 18, 2007

Trivia isn't trivial to Dave Inman, Louisville's reigning king of TV tidbits. He's featured on the next edition of Louisville Life , airing Thursday, July 5 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT and Sunday, July 8 at noon/11 a.m. CT on KET2. Hosted by Candyce Clifft, the program also takes a trip to the historic Farmington home, visits a real-life "school of rock," spends time with minister Kevin Cosby and looks into the history of cartoonist Fontaine Fox and the Toonerville Trolly.

David Inman is well-known as the Incredible Inman in the Courier-Journal for his television trivia column, which appears there daily and in 35 other newspapers nationwide. He's also the author of Television Variety Shows ; The Incredible Inman's Louisville Trivia Challenge , which features questions about the city, people, local history, TV, radio, movies and sports; and The Golden Age of Louisville Television , which spotlights something that's hard to find these days -- homegrown television produced by hometown talent.

Then, viewers go along as Louisville Life presents a feature on Farmington. The author of the Emancipation Proclamation visited there, but despite the Lincoln connection, Farmington was home to enslaved African Americans.

"The School of Rock" isn't just a Hollywood creation. Louisville Life introduces some Louisville variations on this musical theme. \~

Then, Candyce interviews Rev. Dr. Kevin W. Cosby, shepherd to one of the largest flocks of Christian believers in Louisville. Cosby discusses his faith and plans to revive Louisville's only historically black college.

Finally, the program profile s cartoonist Fontaine Fox and the Toonerville trolley. \~
