Taking as its theme a generation-gap relationship , May to December , set in Pinner, a suburb of north-west London, centers on the comical and poignant situations that arise in a co uple's May - December romance. May to December a irs Saturdays, beginning July 7 at 10/9 p.m. CT on KET 2 and Sundays, beginning July 8 at 8:30/7:30 p.m. CT on KET1.This popular sitcom , which was broadcast on the BBC from 1989 to 1994, revolves around Alec Callender, a middle-aged lawyer , and Zoe Angell, a much younger PE teacher who, owing to their love of old musicals and detective stories , fall in love despite the years that separate them.
Over the first four episodes, viewers are introduced to Alec, an affable widower with two grown children , and 27-year-old Zoe, an attractive woman seeking a divorce. An unmistakable connection is made after Zoe contacts Alec to arrange for lunch so they can discuss her divorce proceedings. Humor ensues when, a fter making plans for their first date, Alec opts for trendier clothing .
