On the next edition of One to One , host Bill Goodman welcomes Carey Cavanaugh, a former U.S. Ambassador, and current d irector and professor at the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce at UK. The program airs Friday, July 13 at 10/9 p.m. CT on KET2 and Sunday, July 15 at 2/1 p.m. CT on KET1 .
Cavanaugh became director and professor of diplomacy and conflict resolution at the Patterson School in 2006. Previously, he had a 22-year diplomatic career with the U.S. Department of State that focused on conflict resolution, political-military affairs and humanitarian issues. Under Presidents Clinton and Bush, he spearheaded or helped advance peace efforts involving Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Tajikistan and Turkey.
