Volunteering efforts by both individuals and businesses headline the next edition of Louisville Life , airing Thursday, July 19 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT and Sunday, July 22 at noon/11 a.m. CT on KET2. Hosted by Candyce Clifft, the program also features visits to the Derby Dinner Playhouse and DinnerWorks, and investigates the latest on the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage as well as Louisville's Black Achievers.

First, producer Jayne McClew, a longtime volunteer herself, provides how-to's for anyone interested in volunteering in the community. And volunteering isn't just for individuals; some of Louisville's biggest businesses, including UPS and General Electric, are also helping out in their communities.

Louisville Life then turns the spotlight on Derby Dinner Playhouse, a popular destination for Louisville area theater lovers looking for dinner and a show.

Next, art is served at the 20th annual DinnerWorks event at the Louisville Water Tower. In this segment, viewers will enjoy special pairings of handmade dinnerware and uniquely designed table installations.

Next, Candyce discovers the latest on the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage when she interviews CLest Lanier, who is forging a future for this new Louisville destination.

Louisville Life also features a Louisville program with more than 25 years history honoring African Americans of note in the community, Black Achievers, sponsored by the YMCA.
