Also, an encore presentation of Celtic Woman -- A New Journey airs Thursday, Aug . 9 at 8/7 p.m. CT and 10/9 p.m. CT on KET1. The six young Irish women perform at historic Slane Castle , a home steeped in Irish history. The program is hosted by the owner of the castle, Lord Henry Mount Charles.
The performances, arranged and written by composer David Downes, are a blend of classics, contemporary hits and original material, including " Newgrange, " " Scarborough Fair, " " Somewhere Over the Rainbow " and " Danny Boy. "
