Renee focuses on dads and families on the next edition of Connections with Renee Shaw , airing Saturday, Sept. 1 at 3/2 p.m. CT on KET1 and Sunday, Sept. 9 at 11:30/10:30 a.m. CT on KET2.As black dads in Kentucky and around the country participate in the Million Father March by taking their sons to their first days of school, Renee and guests focus on fathers' involvement in their families' lives. Renee and a panel of guests also explore why some young black male students are falling behind their female counterparts in school. Panelists include an average dad who has taken steps to help his son, a sociologist, and a director of multicultural studies.
