Tim Russert on One to One

Bill Goodman turns the camera on famed interviewer and television journalist Tim Russert, host of NBC's Meet the Press , on the next edition of One to One . The program airs Friday, Aug . 31 at 10/9 p.m. CT on KET2 and Sunday, Sept. 2 at 2/1 p.m. CT on KET1 , and at a new time, Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2.

The Washington bureau chief for NBC News, he also hosts Tim Russert , a weekly interview prog ram on CNBC. Before joining NBC , Russert, a lawyer, served as counselor for former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo and was chief of staff to New York Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan.

In this program, Russert discusses how he prepares for Meet the Press , and talks about the most interesting, surprising and reluctant guests he has hosted.

Goodman also asks Russert about his memoir, Big Russ and Me: Father and Son - Lessons of Life , which focuses on his father, and he explains how he has tried to pass what he's learned along to his own son, Luke.
