KET's 2007 election coverage continues with candidate forums, leading up to a live election night broadcast.KET has invited all candidates on the ballot in contested races for statewide offices to participate in live televised forums. Each forum will air live on KET1, with a web simulcast, and will be archived online at www.ket.org/election. Forums air Thursdays , Sept. 27-Oct. 4 , a nd Mondays , Oct. 8 -29 , at 8 / 7 p.m. CT.
The forums are scheduled as follows:
Candidates for Secretary of State, Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8/7 p.m. CT
Candidates for Commissioner of Agriculture, Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8:30/7:30 p.m. CT
Candidates for Auditor, Thursday, Oct. 4 at 8/7 p.m. CT
Candidates for State Treasurer, Thursday, Oct. 4 at 8:30/7:30 p.m. CT
Candidates for Attorney General, Monday, Oct. 8 at 8/7 p.m. CT
Candidates for Governor I, Monday, Oct. 15 at 8/7 p.m. CT
Candidates for Lieutenant Governor, Monday, Oct. 22 at 8/7 p.m. CT
Candidates for Governor II, Monday, Oct. 29 at 8/7 p.m. CT
Election 2007: The Vote , airing on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 7 /6 p.m. CT on KET1, features live returns and analysis and speeches from the candidates . Hosts Bill Goodman and Renee Shaw are joined by political observers Al Cross, Joh n David Dyche and John McGarvey .
