Bill Goodman speaks with Mike Duncan, a former Inez banker and current chair of the Republican National Committee, on the next One to One, airing Sunday, Oct. 28 at 2/1 p.m. CT on KET1 and Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law and resident of Inez, Duncan was elected as the 60th chairman of the Republican National Committee in January 2007. During his more than 30-year career as a political strategist, he has served on the campaigns of five p residents, including Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush. Duncan is also active in numerous professional and nonprofit organizations, including the Christian Appalachian Project.
On the program, Duncan discusses his job as chairman of the Republican National Committee and what he is doing to get the GOP ready for the 2008 presidential election.
