Kentucky Author Forum Presents opens its 11th season with former NBC news anchor Tom Brokaw, interviewed by fellow journalist Rick Atkinson. The program airs Thursday, Dec. 20 at 10/9 p.m. CT on KET1 and Sunday, Dec. 23 at 10/9 p.m. CT on KET2.
Brokaw stepped down after 21 years as anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News in 2004, but he has continued reporting and producing documentaries for NBC News, as well as providing expertise during breaking news events.
Brokaw has received numerous honors during his career, including the Edward R. Murrow Lifetime Achievement Award and the Emmy Award for Lifetime Achievement. And he was recently inducted into the
