For Release: 2007-12-03 14:58:00

Greater Louisville Inc., Louisville’s metro chamber of commerce and economic development agency, recently hosted a visit to Ireland for some of Kentucky’s leading businesspeople. The group learned about Dublin’s economic boom and how it parallels Louisville’s own resurgence. Bill Goodman moderates a panel discussion with some of the travelers in Kentucky-Ireland Parallel, airing Monday, Dec. 17 at 10/9 p.m. CT on KET2 and Thursday, Dec. 27 at 10/9 p.m. CT on KET1.

The panelists are: Joan Coleman, president of AT&T Kentucky; Bill Lear, managing member of Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC, Jeff McKenzie, chairman and CEO of Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC; and Ted Nixon, chairman and CEO of D. D. Williamson.

Kentucky-Ireland Parallel also includes segments from Dublin that focus on the city’s highly skilled and educated workforce, competitive government vision and corporate tax incentives.

Kentucky-Ireland Parallel is a KET production, produced by Mike Brower. More information about KET programming and education services, as well as how to support KET, can be found at www.ket.org.
